Meander

2024 | Chandelier in brass. Made from the parts of a collection of deconstructed lamps.

Norgespulsen

2016 | Official Norwegian 20kr coin. In 2016 i was selected from a competition to design the 20kr coin celebrating the 200-year anniversary of the Norwegian Bank. The coin is still in circulation, so perhaps you will find one the next time you recieve 20kr in change!

With a portrait of the King on the front side, my design is placed on the reverse, and portrays a graph of inflation and deflation in the last 200 years of Norwegian economy. It conveys the responsibility and practise the bank has performaed through the 200 years of their exhistance. The design can also remind one of the pulse of a heart on a monitor - inspiring the title “The pulse of Norway”(Norgespulsen).

A brass or gold-colored stand with six curved arms radiating outward, holding light bulbs at the ends, and a reflective round mirror attached to the front.

2023 | Hallway mirror. This is one of the sculptures from my exhibition “Grace of the day and night”. The exhibition contained a group of sculptures with mirrors, which sent a beam of light in between each other. The exhibition was inspired by the optical experiments of the 1600s
